Founded in 1999, Upper Edge has a storied history of managing a vast array of properties for a diverse clientele. As a proud member of the Professional Property Manager's Association, who represents over 75,000 rental units. Our role extends beyond property management; we're actively involved in shaping the industry, sitting on the Board of Directors and contributing to government policy discussions with the Residential Tenancies Branch each month.
Our extensive experience, spanning various real estate cycles, equips us with unique insights into fluctuating property values, interest rates, and rental market trends. Wong Capital Corp
After purchasing our first rental property in 1997, myself and my wife Lisa grew our portfolio to 45 buildings over the next 20 years. My science and Realtor background and Lisa’s nursing background bring a unique set of skills to find, acquire and renovate rental properties.
Day to day, I am the president of Upper Edge Property Management, and also coordinate the large renovation projects for Wong Capital. Lisa nurses part time, and also oversees the finances of both companies, in addition to actively participating in the acquisition and design process of each project.
The Rent It Yourself “RIY” Community
Our community is a sanctuary for rental property owners who prefer to self-manage their rentals. Here, we foster an environment away from the algorithms, ads and keyboard warriors of social media and instead, bring members come together to tackle issues, share experiences, and generate fresh ideas.
